Minutes of BSF Over 35s Football League meeting  -  4th May 2018
held at Bolton Cricket Club

In Attendance:  N.Smith, J. Riley, A.Amhed, K.Stephens and delegates from each club.

N.Smith:  Roll Call,  Reading and signing of May 2018 minutes.

A.Ahmed read out a list of all teams owing money for fines and player registration fees. These need to be paid at next meeting.

J.Riley reminded teams to keep checking the website for re-arranged games and that mid-week games will be added, also teams that cancel games without giving reasonable excuse and notice will be fined £50 and have 4 points deducted as we are running over the end of season date. Fines and deduction of points will be enforced.

K.Stephens said all finals are covered with refs and linesmen, all outstanding games have refs appointed, also got 3 new referees for next season.

A few new teams have shown interest in joining next season, only one confirmed to date - Moss Bank Vets. The league is trying to keep the number of teams to 32 - four divisions of 8 teams.

It was suggested that the season should start a couple of weeks earlier so we get all games played. This will be discussed at the AGM.

The Next Meeting is the AGM and the presentation of trophies will be done. Registration forms will be handed out or be available on the website.

AGM will take place on Friday 1st of June at the Bolton Cricket Club, Green Lane, at 7.15pm prompt.
