Minutes of BSF Over 35s Football League Special General Meeting & Annual General Meeting - 7th June 2019
held at Bolton Cricket Club

Minutes of 7th June2019 Special General Meeting

In attendance - Dave Jolly and Bob Moffat (from The Bolton Sports Federation) N.Smith, J.Riley, A.Amhed, S.Stott, and delegates from each team.

N.Smith read out the proposed motion that Barrhill be excluded from the Bolton Sports Federation Over 35s Veterans Football League as in the opinion of the Committee, the Club’s conduct has been undesirable.

The Club Barrhill was then given the chance to respond to the proposed motion.

The delegates from each team present were then asked to vote for or against the motion by a conducted private card ballot, (not by a show of hands).

The ballot cards were then collected and counted by Dave Jolly and Bob Moffat of the B.S.F.

The motion was carried with the following result - 23 votes for, 7 votes against and 2 abstentions.

As it was supported by more than two thirds of those teams present and voting, the motion was carried.

The meeting was followed by the Annual General Meeting.

Minutes of 2019 A.G.M. 7th June

In Attendance - N.Smith, A.Amhed, J.Riley, S.Stott, K.Stephens, D.Jolly, B.Moffat and delegates from each team.

N.Smith: - Roll Call. Reading of 2018 minutes of A.G.M. and signed as a true copy. Also thanked all for turning up to the earlier S.G.M.

A.Amhed handed out copies of 2018/19 accounts, then read out the accounts. USB sticks handed in last season for registration of players can be collected and renewed for this coming season.

K.Stephens: - Up to 6 new teams have applied to join our leagues this season. Application forms handed out. All teams need to fill out application forms and must include a valid email address and alternative contact number.

N.Smith: Simon Stott has been nominated by J.Riley and seconded by A.Amhed for the vacant position of Vice-Chairman. A vote took place and Simon Stott was voted in as Vice- Chairman.

Dave Jolly addressed the floor and gave an emotional speech about the history and future of the Bolton Sports Federation Football League.

K.Stephens presented the referee of the year award to Mick Morledge,

N.Smith then gave out trophies and medals to all winning teams and thanked them for a great season.
