Minutes of Annual General Meeting  -  3rd June 2023 - at Bolton Cricket Club

In Attendance:- Dave Jolly, Bob Moffat, Neil Smith, Amar Ahmed, John Riley, Kevan Stephens and delegates from each team.

N.Smith:- Roll Call and signing of the last AGM Minutes as a true copy.

No matters arising from last AGM.

A.Ahmed:- handed out expenditure sheets to all teams and explained all incomings and outgoings.

Player allocation is 25 players per team before you have to pay £5 for every extra player.

All teams need to be registered with the F.A.  and on the Whole Game System, including all players, to be affiliated. This can be done from end of June.

Due to the fact that we can’t award goals for games not being played because of a team cancelling at short notice, the league will not be won on goal difference. In Future, if teams are tied, level on points, there will be a play-off at a venue agreed by both teams, with linesmen included.

Standard Code of Rules (SCOR) 23/24 were accepted.

No additional rule changes were proposed.

Presentation of Trophies took place.

We have made mistakes this season by not awarding points and deducting points from teams. Any team that cancels a game without good reason or notice will be fined £50 and be docked a point. The opposition will gain three points. The main point is that the decision will be made by committee members and decision will be final.

Also, teams playing unregistered players, or under aged players, will also be fined, docked points and their opposition awarded points.

Application Forms are available on the website to download. These must be filled in correctly with all information, and sent to kevanstephens@gmail.com

New team applying is Harwood F.C.

Next Meeting is Friday 7th July at Bolton Cricket Club, when forms can be handed in and league format will be discussed.
