N Smith:

We have received a card with a donation for the league.

Accounts are in a healthy position going towards the new season and were shared with the delegates and committee with a balance of £16306.73.

Matters Arising:

N Smith asked if we could have a vote on the proposal of changing the league rules, so divisions are decided by goal difference if teams finish level on points on completion of the season.

This was seconded by Jason from Turton.

A vote was taken and a majority 13 teams voted in favour of a rule change so effective of next season the rule will be amended in the handbook.

All Results to be communicated to J Riley.

K Mather:

I need to know the details on how to register teams and players on the FA whole game system.

AOB:

Can it be looked at divisions and how many team per division.

Can we also look at Divisional Cup rules.

Any club not wishing to participate in the upcoming season should send a letter in writing to a committee member prior to the AGM.

We have no clue on divisions until all clubs have decided what they are doing next season and all new applicants have been accepted, this can be discussed further on July 4th at the next meeting.

Teams voted on the number of leagues for next season, the majority vote was to have 2 leagues.

All teams were in favour of voting every year on the number of divisions dependant on how many teams there are.

Revise fines to make more teams accountable. Figure of fines should be reviewed at next meeting.

If a team leaves the league, they should lose their bond unless put in writing before the AGM. To be discussed at next meeting.

A vote was taken on the cancellation of matches on 3/4G pitches. The suggestion was that if the away team cancelled after 11am on Friday before the fixture was due to commence which is 48 hours notice, then the away team should be liable to full cost of pitch fees. The vote was all in favour this should be added to the handbook.

Volunteers came forward for 2 vacant positions on the Committee. Jason Craig from Turton has volunteered to become League Treasurer. Mike McHenry from De La Salle has volunteered to be Vice Chairman. Both have volunteered to support the League and Committee. This will be discussed in the next meeting.

Next meeting will be held on the 4th July 2025 at Bolton Cricket Club.
