Minutes of The Over 35 Veterans' Football League meeting  -  9th August 2024
held at Bolton Cricket Club

In Attendance:  N.Smith, A.Ahmed, K.Mather and delegates from each team.

Non Attendances: Heaton Casuals, Salford Vets and Stoneclough.

N.Smith:  Roll Call.

A.Ahmed:  Affiliation still can’t be done at the minute,  4 or 5 teams still need to complete criteria and any fines need to be paid before completion.
Registrations need to be applied to the Whole Game system.
Fines will need to be paid before this is completed.
Welfare courses have held up team affiliation.

Leagues have been set up, 18 team with 3 divisions of 6. Each team will play 3 games, 1 at home, 1 away with a 3rd to be decided.
Divisional cups will be played after Christmas, at the moment this will be decided over 1 game each, this may change dependant on how the league fixtures are going.
Postponing games is no longer an option unless superseded by a county cup game

                                        *    3rd Postponement – meeting with league officials

All game results need to be sent via WhatsApp before 6:30pm so discrepancies can be checked and rechecked if needed.

Match Cards are to be filled in and referees need to sign, away teams are also responsible for this or may be subject to fines.

League Starts on Sunday 8th September 2024.

Next Meeting is Friday 6th September 2024 at Bolton Cricket Club.
