Minutes of The Over 35 Veterans' Football League meeting  -  6th March 2026
held at Bolton Cricket Club

In Attendance: N Smith, K Mather, J Riley, J Craig, M McHenry and delegates from each team.

Non Attendances: Atherton Town, Deans Men’s & Ladies Veterans, Little Lever Sports Club, Old Boltonians.

No Matters Arising

N.Smith: Roll Call.

J Riley: Fixtures may have to be held midweek due to fixture congestion during end of season. Midweek fixtures will likely take place on Wednesdays if needed.

K Mather: A reminder to all team’s league rules states any teams are allowed to register 25 players, any more than this will result in a £5 fine per additional player registered.

Can we change the registration ruling to 35 players per team?

No meeting in April as per delegates and committee.

Teams may not be able to get a pitch midweek.

Non-Attendances at the AGM will result in a £50 fine. Teams will also need to inform of participation in next season’s league.

Next meeting is Friday 1st May 2026 at Bolton Cricket Club.
