Minutes of The Over 35 Veterans' Football League meeting  -  1st May 2026
held at Bolton Cricket Club

In Attendance: N Smith, K Mather, J Riley, J Craig and delegates from each team.

Non Attendances: Old Boys Vets, Atherton Town, Deans Youth & Ladies Veterans, Little Lever Sports Club, De La Salle.

No Matters Arising.

N.Smith: Roll Call.  Rogue Wanderers have expressed interest in joining the league and are here today to observe.

J Riley: If there are no cancellations, scheduled fixtures currently would mean league finishing in good time.

AOB:

League fee is 130 pounds entry and the bond for each joining team is 100 pounds.

Is there an option to increase registrations before fines from 25 – 35 individuals per team. KM This can be discussed at the AGM.

Can we either conduct meetings via Zoom or Group WhatsApp call to try and get all teams involves? To be discussed at AGM.

Can clubs be emailed with League intentions of league set up for next season? To be done after teams agree at AGM.

Next Meeting (AGM) will be held on 5th June 2026 at Bolton Cricket Club.
